If there was a time you could travel to for however long you wanted (so you can just pop in or stay for however long you like) though only once which would it be or would you even want to at all?
You're allowed to bring anything with you to & from the period, also there are none of that crossing the streams & such time sillyness so you can do things like meet yourself in the future or past.
I'd probably go a decade or more into the future, buy some games & then nick a fantastic computer or
console before jumping back.

Back to a pre-industrial era or before even societies existed, the Cenozoic age perhaps?

I wouldn't go to the 1950's...women had no lives.

I would love to go to the future but still, if there were no choices, I'm happy with this time.
