I saw as things like Digimon, Pokemon, and Powerpuff Girls, where the characters are mainly under 18, but its your opinion.

Well, they're at the age where they can have children and run businesses.

Wel technically, not every society keeps kids locked up till 18, and since this isnt in our dimension, they may have differents yet similar perspectives on right of passage. Maybe in their world, kids have the same rights and responsibilities as adults. Emphasis on "Maybe".

True, but since this is a kid's show, I doubt that has been thought all the way through.

going to have to agree with thistle....at least in the parts of discord and the princesses.

I also agree with Thistle. The Mane six have jobs, own businesses, and take care of younger siblings without the help of parental figures. I know some of the lessons they learn sound easy, but I know plenty of adults that haven't learned 10% of what these ponies have.

What you have to remember is...
A. They are ponies... ponies age differently to humans
B. It is a fictional show... therefore the producers and writers and such can make the ponies whatever ages they like!
